KING'S BASTION BOULDER PARK
State of the art bouldering gym opening in Gibraltar!
BASIC INFO
From 1 July 2021, a brand new bouldering gym is opening at King's Bastion Leisure Centre.
The facility is on the second floor of the Leisure Centre, opposite the cinema.
Check with the Leisure Centre for opening hours, prices, etc. Minimum age is 6. Children must be supervised by adults (max 2 children per adult supervision ratio).
ABOUT THE BOULDER
~400 sqm of 4.5m boulder with a wide mix of angles from slab to full overhang. >100 labeled routes range from VB to Comp level so there's something for everyone.
Training area (adults only) includes Moonboard and campus. Moonboard (2016 setup) has LED system that you connect to with the Moonboard app.
ARE THERE CLASSES?
Yes. Staff are trained to run inductions, 40min sessions that are the perfect way to learn basic technique and safety rules.
GCA coaches will be running daily group sessions from September 2021 and possibly during the summer also, depending on demand.
