BOULDER PARK OPENING DATE CONFIRMED: 1 JULY 2021

Great news for everyone in Gibraltar who loves climbing on stuff! King's Bastion Leisure Centre have confirmed the opening date for the new bouldering gym - 1 July 2021. Please contact the Leisure Centre for details on prices, opening hours, etc.
AWESOME NEW BOULDERING GYM IN GIBRALTAR!!

The Government has today announced that a new indoor Boulder climbing facility will be opening soon at the Leisure Centre to replace the ice rink, which was beyond economic repair.
This will be 380sqm of top quality boulder (4.5m height; 0.4m mats, mix of angles) in an incredible location. Please like/share the link and show support. More details to follow...
2019 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Please join us for our AGM at 8pm on Wednesday 16 October in the meeting rooms at Bayside Sports Centre. Over beers, we will be electing our chairperson and committee (volunteers welcome) and sharing developments in Gibraltar climbing, including our recent discussion with the Chief Minister, and the prospects for a new bouldering gym in Gibraltar...!
MEETING WITH FABIAN PICARDO
January 22, 2020
On Friday 11 October, a fifteen-person contingent from the GCA met for 45 minutes with Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, in a very positive meeting at which we presented our requests for a climbing gym and a 'smart yes' to climbing in the nature reserve. While stressing his constitutional inability to make any commitments prior to the Election, the Chief Minister described our presentation as persuasive and offered us an open door to take the conversation to the next level, should he be returned to office next week.

Youth Climbing (8-12)
Time: Every Wednesday 16:00 – 17:30
Weekly climbing sessions for young climbers, these sessions will introduce the sport of climbing and teach how to climb safely. Sessions are open to climbers of all ability levels.
Open Climbing (13+)
Time: Every Wednesday 17:30 - 19:00
Open climbing session for climbers of all ability levels. All necessary equipment available. A chance for beginners to get into the sport, as well are more experienced climbers looking for more opportunities to climb with others.
FAMILY NIGHTS AT BAYSIDE SPORTS CENTRE

Every Tuesday night from 16 July to 20 August 2019.
Time: 8-10pm
Age: 7 and over (adults can take part too)
Location: Victoria stadium climbing wall
Price: free
What to bring: Suitable shoes (no sandals), hat, sun cream and drink
There will be other activities happening around the stadium as part of the family nights so feel free to give climbing a try!

EASTER CLIMBING FOR AGES 8-13

The Gibraltar Climbing Association will be organising climbing sessions for young people 8 to 13 years of age over Easter. The climbing activity is a two session activity, 2 x 2 hours at The Bayside Sports Complex Climbing Wall. Children must wear trainers or outdoor shoes and bring along water or a drink.
Dates: Monday and Tuesday 15th and 16th April 2019, 10am to 12noon.
